The Corobici River in Guanacaste province of Costa Rica offers a tranquil floating trip, this is a wide and fast-flowing class I and II river.
This experience is great for all ages, including young children and seniors. Nature lovers of all ages will enjoy the amazing variety of birds and lush vegetation of the tropical dry forest. Participants will have the opportunity to observe a variety of animals, including: howler and white-faced monkeys, coatis, iguanas, and river otters. This area, which includes the nearby Palo Verde National Park, is home to over 300 species of birds, including: wood storks, kingfishers, roseate spoonbills, boat-billed herons, bare-throated tiger herons, white ibis and many, many more which frequent the trees which line the river.
Our journey begins at our headquarters in the gardens of the Corobici River. The trip down the river lasts approximately 2 hours. Paddles, lifejackets and bottled water are provided during the tour. If only one raft is used for the tour it will be accompanied by a guide in a safety kayak.
